Medical care

for Athletes

The OC of Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern is in charge of ensuring that all participants receive the necessary medical care before, during and after the meeting. They include European and World champions and Olympic champions with very high standards. To ensure that the needs of the approximately 400 athletes are met in the best possible way, the OC has delegated these tasks to a proven and experienced partner: the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital (LUKS).

The emergency service is available on telephone number 144.

The medical team headed by Dr. med. Urs Müller, head of sports medicine and co-head of orthopaedics, provides medical care for the top athletes as well as emergency aid for all spectators, volunteers and media representatives.
