Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern is able to look back extremely positively on the event of 9 July 2019. The volunteer organizers are very satisfied with the new record figures of 15 million TV viewers in over 90 countries, 7500 in the stadium and a 21 percent increase in media presence. "We were also able to greatly expand our presence on the social media channels," OK boss Karl Vogler states.

Due to the excellent performances of the athletes, Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern has reached 21st place worldwide in the international meeting ranking of over 800 evaluated events this year. "We are proud of this and also of the fact that we were able to maintain our position as the third largest Swiss athletics meeting", Vogler comments.

The date of next year's event has not yet been definitively fixed. Nevertheless, Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern will be back on stage at the beginning of July on the Allmend in Lucerne. The spectators will then be able to experience several medal winners of the World Championships in Athletics starting today at close range.
