An Amazing Eventing in Lucerne

Around 6,000 spectators attended the 39th edition of Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern last Thursday. World-class athletics, an enthusiastic crowd and the unique proximity to the athletes created a very special atmosphere on Lucerne’s Allmend.

Even a severe thunderstorm could not stop this exceptional evening of athletics. The meeting had to be temporarily suspended, but thanks to the determined efforts of the volunteer team, the competition was able to continue. Athletes and spectators faced the challenging conditions together, making the evening all the more unforgettable.

An event like this is only possible thanks to the tremendous commitment of our volunteers, partners, sponsors, service providers and organising committee members. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of them, as well as to every spectator who joined us. Together, we once again demonstrated what Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern stands for: emotion, passion and an extraordinary atmosphere.
